Kitty Dockser

Dresam Advisors’ founder, Katherine (“Kitty”) Dockser, graduated from The University of Virginia School of Law in 1988.  After leaving private practice with Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells) in 1994, Kitty formed her own executive search firm representing Fortune 500 clients and after quick success was invited to join as a principal of Heidrick & Struggles, one of the top executive search firms in the world. Drawing on those past experiences, Kitty then reestablished her own company and has successfully completed many in-house senior level attorney searches as well as law firm partner, practice group and associate placements over the past 20+ years.

Much like the role of a sports agent to professional athletes, Kitty represents partners and practice groups with an established client base in making the lateral move to their new team. Kitty Dockser has a strong track record of providing effective, creative and confidential counseling.  She helps partners define their career objectives, evaluate compatible and realistic options, and facilitate discreet introductions and assist with negotiations.
